receiving the winning cheque for composing music for supersport fan song competition.

Music is one of the most evocative art forms and I take great pride and pleasure in being able to compose a piece of music to fit the situation.

I have composed music for television shows, movie sound tracks and written songs for various singers.

My composition”The South African Dream”  was chosen from amongst composers from all over South Africa as a sporting anthem by DSTV  Super Sport. It was performed at Loftus Versveld before a crowd of 60 000 people, before the test match between South Africa and Whales.

As a composer I have collaborated with various other South African Composers such as Philip Miller and Bham Ntabeni, co-writing the theme music for the “Toasty Show” on

I have also  composed soundtracks for film and music for various TV educational programs, more recently for SABC 1 show called “Bonisanani”

As technology changes  and new music software and  sounds become available so the  textures and sounds of music change.I keep up to date with the latest technology. I use a variety of music compositonal tools such as Ableton Live, Reason , Logic Pro and Protools.

My studio is situated at the SABC Radio Park in Auckland Park, Johannesburg. In it I have a host of acoustic instruments which I use in my compositions when called for.  A Yamaha Piano and a Maple shell Pearl  drum kit are some of the instrument I incorporate into my compositions and arrangements.
